History/background
In 1947, Mr. Israel Mendelson, OBM, founded a private business in Haifa, whose core business was the marketing of raw steel materials. In 1961, the business was incorporated as a private company, wholly owned by the Mendelson family. In 1992, the company became a public company.
In 2004, Israel Mendelson Technical and Engineering Supplies Ltd. was acquired by the entrepreneur, Mr. Roni Elroy, and, in 2005, the company became a public holding company, and its name was changed to KMN Holdings (Mendelson Group).
The controlling shareholder of the company is Mr. Roni Elroy. The balance of the company’s shares is held by Mr. Giora Inbar, the Group’s C.E.O., as well as by institutional entities and the public. |
