Last activities
As a business company living and operating within its environment and carrying out reciprocal relations, KMN Holdings considers the issue of social involvement and assistance to the community as a key element in its business vision. Therefore, it made one of its objectives to take part in social and welfare activities. To fulfill that objective, KMN established “KMN Community Fund,” headed by the Company C.E.O., Mr. Giora Inbar. The Fund is funded by recruitments from companies of the Group, which convenes periodically to decide how to distribute the donated funds.

The donations are channeled to three principal areas: educational and cultural institutions, hospitals and medical research funds, and disadvantaged populations.

Among the organizations to which the Fund has donated and is donating contributions are:
“Ofanim,” a nonprofit organization for the advancement, enrichment and empowerment of children in peripheral communities, which it reaches using “mobile laboratories (designated buses) equipped with state-of-the-art technological means to provide lessons in the sciences, art, computers and creative thinking.
“Chinuch Lepsagot” (College for All), a nonprofit organization whose aims are to close gaps and provide equal opportunities for success to children with potential from disadvantaged communities by helping them fulfill themselves through after-school supplementary academic studies and education in social values. KMN Fund’s contribution helped to construct a “College For All” center at the Guatemala School in the Kiryat Menachem neighborhood in Jerusalem. Beyond its financial assistance, KMN encourages companies in the Group to take an active part in contributing to the community, to initiate, volunteer and assist. Accordingly, it decided that its subsidiary, Alexandrovitz, and its employees, would take an active part in establishing and fostering the center.
“Officers’ Academy – Bahad 1,” which the Company has adopted within the scope of the “Adopt a Soldier” project of the Association for the Wellbeing of Israel’s Soldiers, “Bezalel" Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, The youth village “Yamin Orde” – KMN has adopted students and will support them during their studies until they graduate, “Technoda", “Zionism 2000”, “Challenges” nonprofit organization, “Variety Israel” and more.
